Just pass the variable as the parm, ie:

 CALL PGM(RPGPGM) PARM(&USR)

I've got a CL that has a parameter (for example) the parameter is called
&USR and is char(10)

Can you pass that parameter to an RPG by doing a call within that CL?

(any special quotes or something you need when doing the call and
passing the parameter)

I am trying to get up to speed with RPG and am trying just to find out
if it's possible before I dig too deep.

Jim
