Hopefully exit points as mentioned by Bruce will get you what you need. In 
the meantime, and for the specific example you mention, you might like to 
take some preemptive action against the dreaded CPF4131 level check 
error. I have a CHKLVLCHK command that attempts to spot if a program (or 
programs) could fail due to missing or mismatched referenced objects.
