I have written a simple UDF to try this out. I'll expand the functionality
once I get it to work. Currently SQL can't find the function. I followed
the steps in the SQL Programming Concepts, SQL Reference, and FAQ articles.
I must have missed something somewhere though.

I get this message when I try to use the function:  CVTDTEUF in *LIBL type
*N not found.

I created the function like this: create function rcheva1/cvtdteuf (dec(8,0), char(5), char(5))
returns char(10) language rpgle Deterministic no sql returns null on null input No external action allow parallel simple call external name 'RCHEVA1/CVTDTE(CVTDTEUF)' CREATE FUNCTION statement complete.

My library is in the library list.

Any hints would be appreciated.
