Tim,

Ordering on RRN is possible, but it does not guarantee LIFO.

SELECT rrn(DB2FILE), DB2FILE.* FROM DB2FILE ORDER BY 1 DESC

Several options, like "reuse deleted records", or even RGZPFM KEYFILE() can
cause RRN to lose FIFO or LIFO ordering.

Subject: order by rrn, or lifo?

Is it possible on a sql select statement, to order my results by the latest
record in the file to the oldest? without using a date field? I would like
to order by the rrn, highest to lowest...

thanks, tim
