here is my crtprtf command and a snippet of the dds. The overlay is small,
so the path name printing on the bottom of the page is not part of the
overlay image.

It becomes noticeable when there is more than one overlay image on the page.
Then I get a path string for each overlay!

We are on v5r2 if that makes a difference.

thanks,

Steve

can you do a chgprtf on the print file and post what is there? I have
never seen an overlay print it's path?
could also be that the document that the overlay was created from put the
path at the bottom ( ie a word document)

I am using the DDS OVERLAY function to print a company logo at the top of
each page of a report. The logo prints where I want it to, but the path
name
of the file that the overlay ( CRTOVL ) was created from prints at the
bottom of the page.

How do I stop the system from printing the overlay path at the bottom of
the
page of an *AFPDS print file?

thanks,

Steve
