 Check out IBM AS/400 Support Line Tech Document 7995114 and 8983237. These
explain how to set up Remote outqs with dummy printer. This gives the user
visibility for the printer. It also explains some of the restrictions on

Jobs in most of the IP printers in our organization are managed via WRKWTR
however some can only be reached by directly accessing the respective outq.
Can anyone tell me why this would be and if it's possible to get the latter
associated with writers?
