I knew I had to have missed something ;-)

Also, we walked thru a bunch of test things on the UPS with the service
company. Our batteries failed the test. We have executed the SPNDMNY (spend
money) command and have a service tech with new batteries coming. We can't
remember but we think it was about 5 years since the last battery change.
The UPS service guy said that since the batteries are 'failed' it is no
longer doing it's self test. So, no messages. We think that one of our PC
techs turned off the beeper on the UPS when he was in one weekend working on
a server and didn't record the error message. Since he is out of the office
for 10 days at a training, the wet noodle will have to wait.
