True, the NTs have Mac support, but, AFAIK, you have to allocate a block of disk and it's formatted as a Macintosh drive. DAVE allows you to store/read files directly to an NT drive without any special arrangements on the NT side. Dave creates a 'desktop' file, and handles dual-fork files natively on the NT machine, so you don't lose links between files and the application and the icons.

But the NTs (NT, 2k, 2k3) have AppleTalk Support, so you shouldn't need it
for that.

Although I don't use Dave with an AS/400, I've been using Dave for several years to let my Mac use my Windoze NT machine as a disk drive. Works Great! Less Filling!
