This is hammered on pretty frequently in the Web400-L list; spin through the
archives to get some ideas on what's out there.  The FAQ has an entry
(search for Webfacing) http://faq.midrange.com.  You can also look at the
IGNITe/400 site for some ideas.  http://www.ignite400.org

In my limited experience, I have noticed a strong tendency for beginners
like me to try to create an application with the tools they know, rather
than design an application and then go learn the tooling that will get the
job done best.
