If not, then that is a great enhancement. I am in the camp that ITMNBR
should be ITMNBR in all files.

Makes
Select b.itmdesc ... where a.itmnbr=b.itmnbr
easier to remember

Makes
SELECT SYSTEM_COLUMN_NAME, SYSTEM_TABLE_NAME, SYSTEM_TABLE_SCHEMA
FROM qsys2/syscolumns
WHERE SYSTEM_COLUMN_NAME ='ITMNBR'
better than
SELECT SYSTEM_COLUMN_NAME, SYSTEM_TABLE_NAME, SYSTEM_TABLE_SCHEMA
FROM qsys2/syscolumns
WHERE SYSTEM_COLUMN_NAME in ('IPROD', 'BPROD', ...)
or
SELECT SYSTEM_COLUMN_NAME, SYSTEM_TABLE_NAME, SYSTEM_TABLE_SCHEMA
FROM qsys2/syscolumns
WHERE SYSTEM_COLUMN_NAME like '%PROD%'

This is very nice, Raul. How about this:

CREATE TABLE AS (SELECT x1 as y1, x2, ... FROM FLDREF) DEFINITION ONLY

Is this possible (to rename the fields when you are creating the table)?

Joe
