I can map a drive to <sysnam>\qdls and that works fine (now).

The process is:

Windows explorer; tools; map network drive; <drive:>; <\\sysnam\qdls>; enter

I get two dialogs:

1 "attempting to connect" information dialog
2 "invalid password or user name now known" enter username/pw dialog

My network pw is not equal to my AS400 pw so I enter my AS400 userid and pw as
requested and I successfully map a drive.

What is weird is that our network administrator notices that my network userid
shows one authenticaiton failure (3 failures results in a locked acct).

Anyone know why?

Jerry
