Performance Data after V5R2 upgrade

Something interesting happened .....

We just upgraded to V5R2 and all my old performance tool data disappeared. 

Usually I run a conversion process to convert it to the new release format.
This time when I tried this, there was nothing to convert.

Does an upgrade from V5R1 to V5R2 result in the removal of all the V5R1
performance collection data?
