When you get to the end of your first READC loop, can you perform a dummy
CHAIN back to the first subfile record and then perform READC again?

This is a stab in the dark.  I think I'm getting phantom memories from my
managerial lobotomy.

Yeah, SFLNXTCHG indicator is updated and then an update is issued to SFL.

CF24 is declared rather than CA24.

It just appears that you cannot do 2 readc operations in 1 cycle (before a 
read-write issued to ctl format). Once EOF is hit in readc #1, there appears

to be no qay to re-set back to re-read - c - again.
