Patrick, I've been trying to follow this thread but there are confusions. (1) 
What system is the FTP server running on? (2) What system are you running the 
client on? (3) Is the client doing a PUT or a GET? (4) What part does the 
Windows NT 4.0 server play? Please answer those for both the case when it works 
and when it fails.
