The new internal ECS is an Async only modem to the best of my knowledge. I do not think you can configure a BSC connection on one. Hey copy your BSC line description and change the resource to the internal modem. Then see if you can save and vary on the line. If you can, the rest should work. I found a supplier on the web, bought 2 replacements at $100 each and had them overnighted. EDI was back up 5 minutes after the box got there; no lost business, slight inconvenience. I consider it a cheap lesson; now I have a backup. I am lucky it was a Monday, which is a slow order day for us. That said, I appreciate the offer! I am also still wondering if the EDI could have been setup to run over the internal ECS modem somehow . . .
