I recommend maybe looking at getting a consultant to help you with the
LPAR. We did and hung out with him the whole few days he was here,
(literally round the clock). It got done right, and we learned alot. Did
our own next partition ourselves.

Gee, iSeries Navigator is GUI. Doesn't that mean it's intuitive? :-)
Actually, after you've made sure you've got all the parts installed, just
playing through the available options should be education enough. What
they don't understand, they can read on. Granted, if you click on the
database navigator, and you are using a vendor package, the odds are slim
that you'll see anything nice. But if you've rolled your own, and have
used referential integrity, constraints, etc., it looks pretty slick. In
that case, a tutorial might show you things that online might not.

Hello All,

We are upgrading to the new 835 and are looking for training for our AS400
operators.

Anyone have any suggestions as to Redbooks/tutorials/manuals/training
that covers what they will need to know?

Thanks,

Jose
