Booth, I -hope- you're being facetious-- As I understand it, OS/2 was developed by IBM, who contracted Microsoft to do the programming. Bill Gates pulled a shrewd one, and retained rights to the program once delivered to IBM. OS/2 languished under IBM's marketing department; it became the core for Microsoft Windows/NT.

Exactly!  Lots of copying.  All those ideas they stole from Microsoft, then
tried to come out with OS/2, for example.
