Trevor, the accepted norm of communications, especially technical
communications, is that you use words in the same way that other people do.
We have enough jargon as it is without your attempt to redefnie terms to fit
your own personal tastes.

Again, it depends on your definition. "remarkably like" is a soft term, but
let's try something concrete. View this image:

While it's not pretty, in my opinion, it hardly resembles a green screen.
This is the sort of thing that can be done with JSPs. Not only that, but
changing logos and fonts and colors can be accomplished by simply selecting
a different style sheet. No programming, nothing. It uses the CSS standard
to accomplish this.

And the CSS standard is just that... a powerful, open standard currently on
its third generation at the Worldwide Web Consortium. JSPs are also an
industry standard, though more tightly held, but always available for
perusal at Sun's site.

These two powerful technologies are what allows pages like the one above to
be built using almost no logic on the server. The server simply outputs
data without class designations, and the style sheet does nearly all of the
requisite formatting.

That is why my product uses JSP/CSS for its UI. Because of the openness of
the interface.

Joe
