Simulating WRKSPLF

I would like to give my users a display similar to the WRKSPLF screen (with
the exception of a couple of options)

I can load the subfile with an API or two, 

I can replicate the action of selecting all the options i.e SNDNETSPLF,
CHGSPLFA, HLDSPLF, DLTSPLF etc. 

But I can't figure out how to replicate option 7=Messages. It doesn't appear
to execute a command as the others all do.

 

Does anyone know how I can retrieve the message that is associates to a
spooled file with a status of MSGW

Better yet, how I can display the same screen that appears when selecting
option 7 on the WRKSPLF screen?
