Any big accu-loader at the other side of the wall or nearby, this took me in
the past.

Did you try to connect the 5393 to another wall-outlet on another
currentbreaker. (I call it dirty powerproblem)

These are original IBM 5394 system diskettes (got 100+ originally from
IBM) The one thing that is different at this location is that one
string(port) is twinax, and the other port is CAT5 w/baluns. Plus....this
site has been running since December!
