Tomorrow I'll be taking a model 400 from v4r3 to v5r1. Since we will
also be replacing the DASD, we've opted to do this by scratching to v5r1
and restoring what they need from tape.

I realize scratching to a new release isn't the recommended path, so I
want to make sure I've collected all the information I might need before
bringing it down. We will definitely be doing an option 21 save. I'm
also planning to RTVSYSINF, but can that data be applied to v5r1 when
saved at v4r3? Also, I know I'm going to lose stuff like directory
entries and distribution queues. Any way, besides not scratching, to
avoid retyping those? Lastly, anyone have a checklist of what
information to print/save before diving into this that might save me
some aggravation?

Thanks to all!
