RE: Data 3 software

        I has some exposure to this software in the early 80's.
        What concerns me most, is the encryption for data files access, which 
was mentioned. I don't recall that mechanism.
        It would be vitally important, to that installation, to know the 
encryption/de-encryption alogrithym, in order 
        to off-load files or data, to a new system.
        This may be the prime reason why, this installation is still sitting on 
an old machine, because, someone forgot to 
        drop the formula in a bank vault.

        AOL 's agreement with MS last week, may hail the end of Netsacape, and 
again, nobody used their encryption
        methodology did they??
