As much as I wish this thread to die, I guess I don't consider it spam when someone sends email from their own server, using their own equipment, (meaning not some open relay), and has a valid email address. Also, they should have an Opt Out that's purpose is what it is intended for and NOT to verify that your a live wire and thus send you more garbage. Just like the snail mail I get, a bulk never gets opened and quickly gets thrown out. And I would hope that if they must sell email address that they only do it to like industries. For example, if I subscribe to a computer email list then they should only sell to that area of concern. If I am a perver! and subscribe to that then they shouldn't sell my address to home improvement companies.
