Good tip.  I suppose that the new V5R2 dimensioned data structure would

I'm not sure about the opening and closing on insert statements.  You can
however, block the insert much the way you would using the OVRDBF command.

The insert statement would look something like this:
C/exec sql 
C+ insert into FILEB  (field1, field2)  xxx rows values(multiple 
occurrence
DS name) 
C/end-exec 

Replace xxx with the number of occurrences of the DS.
