Wish you were a little more specific with the question

Are you doing an Option 21 type backup or other? and want concurrent copies from same partition or is this multi-partition multi concurrent backup

Multi-partition multi concurrent backup is a piece of cake.

BRMS or RTAPE will help do a multi-tape drive backup

I'd also believe with a High Availability product you could do this dual backup as well.

BRMS has a higher learning curve then RTAPE
