A customer of mine is retiring an old 43xx printer and replacing it with a
Infoprint 1125 laser. Their VAR had it configured with a *IPDS attachment but
not twinax. All of their other printers are twinax. They did the *LAN attach
so they could share it with other network traffic, and to avoid the extra cost
of the twinax interface.

Trying to configure it now, it appears from the IBM doc number 8234913 that I
must set it up as AFP(*YES). Won't this make it require PSF to be licensed?

They have never needed PSF in the past. The IPDS is used for simple bar codes
and OCR etc.

Since the Infoprint 1125 is a 25ppm printer, does this mean they need 57xx-SS1
option 37 (1-45 IPM printer support)? What does that cost for a P05 tier?

TIA,
Doug
