Greg:
I have done many of these. I don't use a device description, I use a remote
outq using LPD/LPR. The Printek 8000 has an AXIS printer server built in.

Hello list,

I am trying without success to create a device description to print from our
AS400 V4R4 to the Printek 8000. We have a Printek 4503 connected by twinax
which works fine. The 8000 is alive on the LAN and can be printed to from
a PC but not the AS400. If someone on the list has this setup please send
a copy of your device description.

Thanks in advance. Greg
