Thanks Dave!  I appreciate the perspective.   I think I'm just too naiive.
I'm basically an AS/400 programmer who happened to get into the writing and
publishing game. I don't always "get" the more subtle nuances of all this!
So I gain by people like you giving me feedback like this.
