Rob,

I do check for the savf's in the manner that you speak but my report
(generated about 4 years ago) only includes files over a certain size. Who
knows what I was thinking back then. I think I was running into
situations with developers saving production libraries for their own test
purposes and on occasion that does chew up some space. I'm going to have
to do better because those PTF savf do take up some space. Granted it's
not a lot but hey 10's of or 100's of megs is just that. I'm glad you
mentioned because it reminded me to look at my report....

It probably isn't that significant but just because my office is a mess I
really don't like having that kind of storage usage or loose ends floating
around.

Thanks for everyone's input - it's great to be able to bounce an idea....

Good idea Pete, but what I was describing, (among other things) is when
the boss sticks a ptf save file in his library and not QGPL. I had
forgotten about the save files in the product libraries (well, maybe I
referred to them indirectly with 'ability to remove a ptf').

What you are describing is the save file. Not the one in QGPL, but the
one that exists in the product library.
