The system continues to experience intermittent problems ... at this point I
am suspecting a bad motherboard, as the main memory has been replaced.  I
will be contacting Dell support soon to investigate alternatives.  Dell may
require that I run some diagnostics on the system that could result in
extended down time.  I will update the status page
