In a former life (job), we changed all classes to be 10% of their current
value.  It did seem to help smooth out some response-time anomalies, but the
system was somewhat memory-constrained for the interactive workload we used
on it (a 640).  Ultimately we ended up spending $$$ to fix the problem.  

Generally, I don't see that a 2000ms timeslice causes any real problems.
Unless you're trying to fix a problem, I doubt you'll see much difference.

 IBM still has the default for the interactive class time slice at 2000.
This has been in place since the beginnings of OS/400.  With today's
superior processors what is the suggested value?  Does a table exist
anywhere that shows settings for different generations of systems?  I'm
running my 830 with the QINTER class time slice set at 100 or 200.
