You have to call the API QP0FCVT2 directly at V5R1 to convert to *TYPE2
directory format.  No CVTDIR command at V5R1.

So far so good.  I used the API to get the *ESTIMATE info and it worked
fine.

I thought this feature was only available on V5R2.

I ran it on a model 250 with a similar conversion estimate to what you
quoted and that was about the time it took to ran.  Might have even been
a
little quicker.
