Hi Eric

Looks like that (and I assume the SBM referred to on the page should be
SMB). I'm not aware of anything that changes codepages for Linux
systems, so maybe Windows (hence QNTC) isn't unusual in that. The -S
switch isn't a standard ls switch, and neither is the -C switch standard
for touch (which sets the code page for IFS files), but they are both
useful on the 400.

ls -S does work for regular IFS files & directories, and appears to work
for NFS mounts. And as a correction to my previous post below, the -A
switch works at least as far back as V4R4, though it isn't listed in the
V4R4 QShell manual or in the helptext.
