Then look at the ODBC driver settings, esp. the Advanced settings. Things like increasing the size of record blocking will help. Look at the help for each option - click on the "?" in the upper right of the window, then click on the option.

The same query definition, however, run thru ODBC takes as much as 3 times as long. I'm waiting for him to send me an example of the query statements so that I can examine them for the obvious culprits, but can anybody think of anything else?
