The FAQ at http://faq.midrange.com has some help.  Maybe we need to add to
it though...
To go to IFS, the FIRST command after logging in should be quote site
namefmt 1.  If you CD to an IFS directory, you can't change back to the
library system unless you CD to a library, like cd /qsys.lib/bucklib.lib.
Then, you can quote site namefmt 0 and be back in the library system.

While in the IFS naming system, you can refer to library objects via this
convention:
/qsys.lib/mylibrary.lib/myfile.fil/mymember.mbr
  --buck
