bearing mind the other replies which relate to the AS/400 database, you may want to check what he is referring to when he says triggers. MQ also has a feature called a trigger for message processing which as far as I can see would have nothing to do with the improperly coded database triggers that have caused problems elsewhere.

Of course if they have coded the MQ stuff improperly then this may also still cause a problem....

Has anyone heard of issues with Triggers and MQseries on V5R2 ? I had a
friend ask me. He said they are looking to go to V5R2 very soon and he had
heard that improperly coded triggers could be a problem on V5R2. He was also
wanting to be SURE that there were no issues with MQSeries as they are using
that in a key/major way.
