A 170, I believe so. There is a list of 'non-supported' or 'not
recommended' hardware for v5r2. For example, the standard issue 10/100
ethernet card that was standard issue with a 170 is on the 'questionable'
list. One list is 'unsupported stuff' and one list is 'should be OK but
might act a little funny sometimes' list.

A 150, I haven't heard. It might work, but I wonder if IBM would even
support it or issue the software for it. The 150 was kind of an 'odd duck'.

Good luck.

Subject: V5R2 on Model 150

Hi,

Hope this hasn't been asked before....does anyone know if V5R2 will run on a
Model 150 or a Model 170?

Thanks!

Shannon O'Donnell
