I guess I've always felt this way about the clock on the AS/400 and
iSeries... it's always drifted for me.   I haven't seen it get as far off
as that, but it seems to frequently drift by as much as 45 seconds -- in
both directions!  (In fact, sometimes it evens itself out)

I synchronize mine to an NTP server on the internet daily, and that's
good enough for me...
