I think you can go into recent broadcasts and participate.  Polls can be 
left open for certain intervals, ranging from 1 minute to 10 minutes.

I have several problems with the Community tools:

1) The polls tend to irritating, because they flash on and off the screen
so quickly.  If I'm reading or focusing on something, I usually miss even
being able to read what the poll was about, and when I do see them, I'm 
not
always fast enough to participate.

2) The code seems to cause general instability with XP Home -- when I turn
it on, it seems I crash or hang within 2 hours.  If I leave it off, I can
run all day/night without any problems.
