Support Line?

Oh, yes. NONE of my customers pay for support line. They pay me to
know the answers. They will not be happy about this.

We had a nice thread going on about this on ignite/400's ML.

Subject: Software Maintenance announcement ends Hourly Support Line?

I'm assuming the Software Maintenance announcement is the end to the
hourly Support Line contract (based on the NEWS Wire Daily -- January
21, 2003 article). If that is the case, we are going to have a large
budget increase when management is pressuring us to reduce maintenance
costs. Currently, we budget $2000 for Support Line and usually spend
less than $600 (typically in off-hours). Is anyone else concerned about
this announcement increasing the maintenance costs?
