We're using the new DVD.  A lot slower than our 3590.  But QED.  Order 
them from IBM and they send you a Fuji, and not even private labeled for 
IBM.  I think they were 2.6GB per side.  Yes, you do use both sides.  They 
come in a protective box.  These DVD drives allow you to stick in the 
traditional CD's or these DVD's within the box.

Alas, no DUPTAPOPT or vice versa.  And nothing predicted for at least two 
years according to a DCR I submitted.  Oh Al????

I have been asked to look into what it would take to do our backups from 
the
AS/400 onto CD rather than tape. Does anyone have any experience with 
this?
