True....let's see Websphere Portal runs at least $37,000k per processor
right?  I've done nothing but b**** to IBM about the cost.  At least I
think they are listening...........

Actually, it's because of that stupid pricing that will probably prohibit
us from implementing WP...............

Don't feel bad.  We will probably be using BPCS portal package.  It
requires websphere and websphere portal server.  And at the cost, per
processor, of websphere we've had to add another iseries server, but at
least it's a lpar (big whoop).

It's amazing....we have a portal package that our parent company want's us

to use........7 servers to accomplish it.............

Our management is shaking it's head...if it wasn't coming from our parent
company they wouldn't even consider it............

Just had a meeting with some folks (including a person from Microsoft)
wanting us to take a look at the Microsoft CRM product...

Guess what ? To do this we will ONLY need 4 (FOUR) additional servers...

One for the CRM package, one for Active Directory, one for Exchange and
one for BizTalk...

Unreal...
