Hi All,

A while ago a posted a message pertaining to this issue, the fact that
the pricing of the apps on the system often make the total cost of the
platform quite prohibitive! I agree that one cannot expect to want to
run a $100 app on a $100,000 machine. Then again, when I run a $30,000
app on a $20,000 system, what can I expect i.t.o. that favoured old
cliche : Cost of Ownership? Protection of investment flies out the window!

As hard as IBM are trying to increase the number of iSeries footprints
out there, it is just as hard to try and sell it with one of their
Value-Add products!
