Mailing address DESTANDARDIZATION?

Folks:

Anyone have a routine that will de-standardize a US mailing address?

I know it sounds weird ... but I want to take addresses that have been
formatted for efficient processing by the US postal service, and make it
more "human".

For instance:

123 S Main St.
Chicago, IL  60001-1234

Becomes :

123 South Main Street
Chicago, Illinois  60001
