There are two roads to follow:

1) There are some commercial solutions by for instance Seagull, Linoma and 
others, that willl do what you want. Never tried any of those availble now.
2) Use the XML Toolkit (V5R1 and V5R2) or download the XML parser for RPG from 
IBM's AlphaWorks, and write your own parser. Beware: documentation is really 
poor, lousy.
