Indeed.  We have a 10kVA DELTEC unit just for the 820.  Should provide
several hours of power.

Just my opinion, of course, but more is always better.  As I understand it,
though, uninterruptible power supplies act as excellent surge protectors.
Do you not have your system plugged into such a thing?
