Jim, try this:

You need to create a file share based on QSYS.LIB, in NetServer, for both
machines. Then open these file shares (I've put a shortcut to each share on
my desktop via right-click in OpsNav). Then you can drag/drop the library
from one to the other.

If you base it on a share of '/' (root, it thinks everything is stream
files. If you base it on /QSYS.LIB, it thinks it's all library/object stuff.

Go figure!

And if you have CODE400, you can open members directly into the Editor or
Browser or whatever - extension is .mbr, so associate that with CODEEDIT.
But you don't have all the AS/400 create commands, etc., even if you have a
CODE server going.

Verrry eeenteresting!

Okay....this seems stupid....BUT

can you not take a library in Operations Navigator
and just drag/drop it from one system to another.

or copy/paste it?

I can't seem to make it work.

I am going into File Systems > IFS > QSYS.LIB and then finding the
library
I want to move or copy (doesn't matter to me if I move it or copy it) to
the other system.

I know that I can backup the library to a *SAVF and ftp it over the
network
or just backup to a tape and ship it to me.

But you would think OPS Navigator can do it also right?
