Hello, Midrangers:

I am working up an article for internal publication within my
organization.
The article will be centered around LPAR and its usage.

To that end, I thought it would be good to survey you folks (rather, those
who actually do LPAR their systems) to see HOW the function is being
utilized. No names (company or individual) will be used, and no specifics
will be given, but it'd be great to have an idea that of, say, 60 polled
users, 40 are running Linux for Webserving.... 35 are doing such and
such....) (In other words, if you are running it, why are you running
it?)

If you're working with an LPAR'd iSeries (or even another LPAR'd system,
I'd love to hear from you. Private replies welcome (to
dennis.e.lovelady@accenture.com, please).

While I cannot promise a copy of the finished article for legal reasons, I
will be happy to publish the results of this query, if any are interested.

Thanks for your help!
Dennis
