What do you mean by "not there"? For emulation? Explorer?

Do you have the 400's IP in the HOST file with the name? (Win 98)
Use IP address not name when configuring emulator.

Subject: AS/400 Windows XP Pro

I have an AS/400 model 620 v4r5 which is configured with an internal IP
address and system name to broadcast to the Windows Network. I am running
windows XP Pro and when I go to view the AS/400 its not there. You can see
it on a lot of other PC's that are running Win98, but there are a couple of
Win98 PC's not able to see the 400 either. Does anyone have any idea what
might cause this problem?

Thank You
