David - I think you could be out of luck here...

If I had to guess, the CPP for SIGNOFF (QWCCLFEC) probably does an override
for QPJOBLOG to be the device name, so any override that you might perform
would be overridden again and wiped out by this program before the job log
is written.

I remember trying to do this several years ago and I never could get it to
work, either.

However, if you create your own SIGNOFF command, however, you can perform
 this trick:

In your signoff CPP, do something this:

 PGM PARM(&LOG &DROP &CNN)

 DCL &LOG *CHAR 7
DCL &DROP *CHAR 5
DCL &CNN *CHAR 4

 OVRPRTF FILE(QPJOBLOG) USRDTA(XXXXXX)

 IF COND(&LOG *EQ '*LIST') THEN(DO)
    DSPJOBLOG OUTPUT(*PRINT)
 ENDDO

 SIGNOFF LOG(*NOLIST) DROP(&DROP) ENDCNN(&CNN)

 ENDPGM

What about it Leif? Know any tricks here?
